Please note:
Ifö toilets are made to meet European standards. The waste hook-up is different from the American standard.
Please check with your local building inspector prior to installation.

Installation of Ifö Cera wash basin 2362 and Ifö pedestal 4315
Note that this pedestal is not traditional in that it provides no support
for the sink. It is merely a cover for the pipe. While bolts and nuts are
provided, you will need to purchase new ones as those provided are based
on a European standard that will not work in the US.
- Once you know where
you want the wash basin located, you will need to locate where the bolts
that hold up the wash basin will go. To do this, hold the wash basin in
place and place the pedestal centered beneath the basin with the two just
barely touching. Keep in mind that while the basin is flush with the wall,
the pedestal should be placed 1-3/16" to 2" from the wall (this
range of 1-3/16" to 2" allows for wall imperfections only).
It should be clear that there is only one location and fit for the pedestal
(see spec. sheet for Cera 2362).
- Once you have this
set up, mark the location for the bolts (two) for the wash basin.
- Remove the pedestal
and install the wash basin.
1. First, install the ½" diameter bolts (not provided) into
the wall.
2. Next, slide the bolts through the holes in the wash basin.
3. Install the white plastic bolt holders (provided) with the bolt coming
all the way through.
4. Now install the metal washer, followed by the plastic washer (both
provided), and the nut (not provided). Leave the bolts somewhat loose
so the basin can be slightly lifted to allow for installation of the pedestal.
- Slide in the pedestal
so it sits just beneath the groove under the wash basin (see spec. sheet
for Cera 2362). You should notice there is only one location for the pedestal
(the range 1-3/16" to 2" wall distance allows for wall imperfections
only).
- Tighten the bolts
using the plastic bolt holders to adjust the sink to level and help lock
in the pedestal. The plastic bolt holders are off-center so they can be
turned to create the best fit.
- The pedestal does
not provide support for the wash basin, rather it is a decorative cover
for the pipe. The bolts are what are holding up the wash basin. The pedestal
will be held securely in place by the tight fit in the groove of the
wash basin.
- Install the white
bolt covers (provided), by snapping them into the white plastic washers
already installed.
Installation of Ifö Cera toilet 3810-0002
Note that this toilet does not have the same connection to the sewer line as a standard American toilet.
The toilet can be fitted if the sewer pipe under the toilet is accessible.
- After removing the old toilet, remove the flange that is located on the outlet sewer pipe in the floor.
- If possible, move the sewer line so the center of the sewer pipe is approximately 9" from wall. The final
toilet location will then be adjacent to the wall. If moving the pipe is not an option, you can leave it
at same location, but the final toilet location will be set off a few inches from the wall.
- There are two standards in the US for outlet sewer pipe sizing, either 3" or 4".
1. If your sewer line is a 4" pipe, simply use a 4" ABS COUPLING piece. The Ifo rubber sleeve (Ifo no. 96292) is then placed onto this.
2. If your sewer line is a 3" pipe, then you will need to use an ABS RED COUPLING that reduces from 4" to 3". The Ifo rubber sleeve is then placed onto this.
3. Both COUPLING pieces are readily available at any plumbing supply store for a few dollars.
4. In both cases, the COUPLING piece should extrude between 2" to 2-3/4" above the finish floor level.
- Place the Ifo rubber sleeve onto the COUPLING piece.
- Place the toilet onto the COUPLING aligning the outlet hole in the toilet with the hole in the floor. Squeeze the toilet into place.
- Attach the toilet to the floor with screws (included in toilet purchase).
- Attach the water pipe to the 1/2" male coupling on the toilet tank. The threading is Imperial standard so any off-the-shelf hose will work.
Installation of Ifö Cera wall hung toilet 3893
We recommend installing this toilet for new construction or for a remodel of a bathroom. The toilet
is attached to the wall so the wall has to be reinforced to be able to handle the weight of both the
toilet and the user. The sewer outlet pipe is located inside the wall.
- Once you decide on the desired height of the toilet seat, refer to the dimensions on the specification sheet to determine the location of the outlet sewer line in wall.
- Attach the bolts (not provided) to the wall. You will hang the toilet from these bolts. For bolt location, see specification sheet. Be sure to follow load bearing capability requirements as listed in specifications.

- Place the Ifo rubber sleeve onto the COUPLING piece.
- Hang the toilet on the bolts while aligning it with the rubber sleeve on the sewer outlet pipe. Squeeze the toilet into place.
- Attach the nuts to the bolts, and tighten into place.
